ballet recital

Ok, so this is a very poor quality video, but it's all I have. I wasn't even supposed to be recording this, but we didn't have our digital video camera for the dress rehearsal, so I had to break the rules. You'll see the lady walk down the aisle and tell a couple of guys to stop taking pictures, so that's why the screen goes black for a minute. I do feel a little bit guilty...

Jenna was absolutely adorable and did a great job. She doesn't seem to have any fear of going on the stage and performing in front of people. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to pick her out on this video, but she's the blondie on the left (about 3-4 girls from the left once I get it zoomed in a little bit more).

bishop's peak

We hiked up Bishop's Peak in SLO the other day with Chuck, Cindy, Micah and Caitrin. Levi and Jenna came with us (and did great!) and Luke stayed home with Laurel. Jude rode on Micah's back and loved it.

Our friends' uncle loaned us his vacation house at Shaver Lake several weeks ago. We went with two other families and had a great time. This was our first trip up there. It was beautiful!

slacker

I know - it's been forever since I last posted. I'm really not a slacker, just a facebook addict. I figure that most of the people who look at our pictures are already on facebook, so they can see us there. As for the rest of you, have you thought of signing up for facebook (ahem...wendy?)? It's really not as intimidating as it sounds, and it's a great way to keep in touch with everyone you know-or have ever known. Joel and I have a joint account to keep it simple and we have friends ranging from people we went to elementary school with to people we see at church every week. Love it! (as if you couldn't tell...) So here are a few new pictures of the family. Enjoy! I'll start back in February where I left off.
